This women's exclusive hackathon, TNWISE 2025, hosted by Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing - TANCAM for Tamil Nadu Women in Science and Engineering, held on March 8, 2025, at KIT-Kalaignarkarunanidhi Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, was a resounding success! With over 500+ teams, 1,133+ participants, and 500+ projects from 107+ institutions across Tamil Nadu, the event provided a vibrant platform for women to showcase their prototypes and groundbreaking ideas.
The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Mr. Frederic Besson, Vice President, CATIA Global Sales, Dassault Systèmes. The event was graced by distinguished guests of honor such as Ms. R. Thendral Rajendran, Founder & CEO, Megathil, Mr. P. @Ponram, Hon. Treasurer, CODISSIA - COIMBATORE DISTRICT SMALL INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION, Mr. C. Natarajan, President, COSIEMA ., Coimbatore, and Mr. Rajiv ARAMADAKA, Public Sector Global Affairs Director India, Dassault Systèmes. The function was presided over by Thiru. Pongalur N. Palanisamy, Founder Chairman, and Mrs. Indu Murugesan.

20 Award winners were identified of which the first 3 awards were shared by 2 teams each, recognizing the remarkable quality and creativity of the projects. Additionally, 14 special prizes were awarded for the best projects, highlighting the outstanding innovation and effort of the participants.

Leaders from CODISSIA and COSIEMA were highly impressed and have pledged to support students in transforming their prototypes into market-ready products, a significant step toward fostering women-led innovation in the industry. Our leader, Mr. Vijayadeepan S M, Chief Operating Officer, Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing - TANCAM has been a true visionary in envisioning this event and has meticulously organised this with passion and precision.
