At the Global Women Summit 2026, held on 27 & 28 January 2026 and organized by Tamil Nadu Women Employment and Safety Project (TNWESafe), we were proud to showcase how the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM) is empowering women students and women entrepreneurs through advanced manufacturing technologies and deep-tech interventions.

From Digital Engineering, Industry 4.0, Virtual Twins, Simulation, AI-driven design, to advanced manufacturing technologies, TANCAM continues to bridge education, innovation, and entrepreneurship, enabling women to transform ideas into impactful, industry-ready solutions.

A key highlight of the summit was the official launch of TNWISE 2026 – Hackathon for Women in Science & Engineering, a flagship initiative aimed at empowering women in core STEM domains, driving innovation through advanced technology, and creating structured pathways from hackathon to prototype, startup, and industry adoption.

We had the honour of presenting the TNWISE vision to Udhayanidhi Stalin, sharing how TNWISE is shaping the next generation of women technologists, innovators, and entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu through a strong, technology-led ecosystem. We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister for his encouragement, support, and inspiring words, which motivate us to further scale TNWISE and strengthen women-led innovation across the state.
