On the 24th of March 2023, Dr. S Christopher, Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Secretary of the Department of Defence Research and Development, paid a visit to the Tamil Nadu Centre of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing (TANCAM). During his visit, Dr. Christopher explored the technological capabilities of TANCAM and engaged in discussions regarding the facility's ongoing projects. This visit highlights the importance of collaboration between leading research institutions like DRDO and advanced manufacturing centres like TANCAM to drive innovation and technological advancements in defence and manufacturing sectors
